Tip Of The Week:
‘I dont have enough time to do exercise’ The most common reason people use for not doing enough weekly.
On a weekly/daily basis we all have very busy lives but how can we fit in the government guideline of 3-5 times a week exercise of 30 minutes or more?
Firstly the guideline is that you need to do 30 minutes per day, so as long as this is done even if in 5 min blocks at a time it is fine.
The guideline states 30 minutes of activity – does not have to be exercise as long as your heart rate, breathing is raised and got a little sweat on is enough.
Make a weekly plan from Monday to Sunday, shade out when you are asleep, eating, working, and have important commitments. Any gaps left is all the time you have available to do activity make this a part of your daily diary.
Make simple changes instaed of using TV remote get up and change by hand, do exercises while watching TV, walk to work/school, & involve kids in fun games/activities at home.
Making small changes, makes big differences with your fitness/lifestyle.
